Everyone calls me M; A lover of travel and adventure, an accidental creative, and ironically, a planner AND staunch supporter of the carpe diem philosophy.  I’ve lived on four different continents, leaving each at an important turning point in life.

That some of the best friendships are born by accident;  Doing what you really love will bring you to these.
Some of my most treasured friendships are with those whom I’ve met while travelling.  No matter how much time and space separate us, we are tied together by our shared experiences and rekindle these relationships over memories of the “good ol’ days”.
That your mission should be bigger than your ego.

Having lived in both the western world and in the developing world, I’ve had a taste of both the “TIA” lifestyle and the “rat race”.  Being measured by “impact” rather than “hourly” is much more fulfilling, IMO.

See above.  I was on the corporate hamster wheel for 10+ years, until one fateful day, I had enough.  I went back to school to study international development, my launchpad to Tanzania.
Having been born in a developing country as well, I felt I had an obligation to “give back”; to use the opportunities I was afforded in life and “pay it forward”, in a sense.
Funny enough, the skills I learned while in the rat race, are proving more useful now.

In the past year, I’ve met many different types of people.  They all have the same goal: to shed light on their product, event, organization;  to bring attention to their passion.  Together, we’ve worked creatively to share this light with a larger audience.
Whether it is through story-telling or creative images, I absolutely believe that everyone needs and deserves to have their mission seen and heard.
This is what I’m here for.  If you feel there’s a project I can help you with, I’d love to hear from you.
